Representatives from both Linaro and Schneider Electric reflect upon the relationship built over the past six years, as Schneider Electric increasingly moves towards Linux and open-source. The engagement with Linaro began with LTS engineering, and has evolved into deeper development and debugging. Meanwhile the long term benefits of an open-source, upstream-first model have permeated into Schneider Electric at both engineering and management levels. Among other things, this has led Schneider Electric to join the Yocto Project as a gold member.
