The Cyber Resilience Act is a new EU law that requires all hardware and software products to comply. One requirement is the availability of free updates and fixing all security vulnerabilities starting in 2027.In this talk, Marta will explore the CRA's requirements and their impact on embedded development. What about outdated BSPs (Board Support Packages) and incompatible secure boot solutions, for example? And those devices with critical vulnerabilities that you can't update?The CRA is a challenge for embedded developers and might become another form-filling exercise. However, it could also bring everyone to a new level of quality and security. Let's find out.
