BoF aims at providing platform to discuss state of Qualcomm SoCs and Platforms support in Mainline Linux Kernel. Focusing mainly on. -> Where we are, Current Status of Qualcomm drivers. -> Ongoing efforts on new Drivers/Frameworks. -> Pending problems to solve and plan of attack. Along with open discussion around multiple ongoing efforts around Qualcomm Linux Ecosystem. This will be co-presented by some of Linaro's Qualcomm Ecosystem Engineers.

The presentation provides an overview of the audio subsystem on Qualcomm ARM devices, exploring the essential components required for hassle-free sound functionality on older and modern Qualcomm sound architectures -- Elite and Audioreach. The presentation covers the interplay between components inside Linux kernel, open-source software, and Qualcomm's proprietary components, as well as the challenges and opportunities in bringing-up audio on Qualcomm systems. Also it aims to provide status of audio support and planned new features.
