Given the shared nature of AWS instances, one might think it would be difficult to obtain accurate and reproducible benchmark results on them, due to interference from other instances running on the same physical machine. But in practice, how much variation should we expect? This talk aims to answer that question by comparing the results of SPEC CPU® 2017 benchmarks, run on different Graviton3 and Graviton4 AWS instances.
