Technical presentation - 30 minutes (including q&a)
We will provide an overview of ACPI support on Radxa Orion O6 board in this session. The Radxa Orion O6 is a mini-ITX motherboard built around the CIX CD8180 12-core Armv9 SoC. We support a fully functional Linux including GPU, DPU, VPU, NPU, ISP, USB, PCIe and all IOs on the board. Additionally, the basic system infrastructure and power management are also supported including pin control, clock management, reset controllers, and memory management, CPU power management, device power management, suspend to ram, etc. However, due to incomplete support in the kernel Arm64 ACPI framework, we are facing some challenges to have standardized implementation in the upstream for frameworks like clock tree, pinctrl, devfreq and thermal management, which require the community to work together and accelerate the ACPI standardization on Arm based Client PC.
