Set up a structured process to review and rate submissions with your team.

The evaluation process helps you:
- Distribute review workload
- Collect consistent feedback
- Make fair decisions
- Document selection rationale
Setting Up Evaluation
Add Evaluators
- Go to Team or Users
- Click "+ Add User"
- Select "Evaluator" role
- Enter email address
- Send invitation
Evaluator Permissions
Evaluators can:
- View assigned submissions
- Add ratings and feedback
- See other evaluators' scores (optional)
Evaluators cannot:
- Change submission status
- View all submissions
- Access other event features
Assigning Submissions
Manual Assignment
- Go to Submissions
- Open a submission
- Click "Assign Evaluator"
- Select evaluator(s)
- Save
Bulk Assignment
- Select multiple submissions
- Click "Batch Actions"
- Choose "Assign Evaluators"
- Select evaluators
- Apply
Auto-Assignment
If available:
- Go to CFP Settings > Evaluation
- Enable "Auto-assign"
- Set distribution rules
- Evaluators receive equal workload

- View assignments - See assigned submissions

Tracking Progress
Monitor evaluation status:

For Evaluators
When reviewing, consider:
- Is the abstract clear?
- Is the topic relevant?
- Is the level appropriate?
- Does the speaker seem qualified?
Constructive Feedback
Write feedback that:
- Is specific and actionable
- Highlights strengths
- Notes areas for improvement
- Remains professional
Good feedback example:
"Strong technical topic with clear learning objectives. The abstract could benefit from more detail about the hands-on portion. Speaker's background in Kubernetes is a great fit."
Viewing Evaluations
As an Organizer
- Go to Submissions
- Open a submission
- View "Evaluations" section
- See all ratings and comments
Evaluation Summary
For each submission:
- Average score
- Number of reviews
- Individual ratings
- Comments
Comparison View
Compare submissions:
- Go to Submissions > Analytics
- View ranking by score
- Filter by track/category
Making Decisions
Using Evaluation Data
After evaluations:
- Sort by score - Highest rated first
- Review distribution - Ensure balance
- Consider factors - Diversity, topics, levels
- Make selections - Accept top submissions
Handling Edge Cases
Tied scores:

Split opinions:
