Learn how to review, organize, and manage speaker submissions effectively.
Overview
After speakers submit proposals, you'll need to:
- Review submissions
- Evaluate quality
- Make acceptance decisions
- Communicate with speakers
Accessing Submissions
- Open your event dashboard
- Click "Submissions" in the sidebar
- View all submissions

Sorting
Sort submissions by:
- Date (newest/oldest)

Filtering
Filter submissions by:

Viewing a Submission
Click on a submission to see:
Basic Information
- Title
- Description/Abstract
- Custom form responses
Speaker Information
- Name and contact
- Bio
- Social links
- Previous talks
Co-Speakers
- Additional presenters
- Their details
History
- Status changes
- Comments
- Activity log
Changing Status
Single Submission
- Open the submission
- Click the status dropdown or "Change Status"
- Select the new status
- Optionally add a note
- Save
Batch Status Change
- Select multiple submissions (checkboxes)
- Click "Batch Actions" or "Bulk Update"
- Choose "Change Status"
- Select the new status
- Apply
Adding Comments
Internal comments for team discussion:
- Open the submission
- Scroll to "Comments" section
- Type your comment
- Click "Add Comment"
Comments are:
- Visible to organizers only
- Not seen by speakers
- Useful for discussion
Accepting Submissions
Individual Accept
- Open the submission
- Click "Accept" or change status to "Accepted"
- Confirm the action
Using Accept Queue
For batch processing:
- Change status to "Accept Queue"
- Review queued submissions
- Process queue to send notifications
What Happens
When you accept:
- Speaker receives notification email
- Status changes to "Pending"
- Speaker can confirm or decline
Declining Submissions
Individual Decline
- Open the submission
- Click "Decline" or change status
- Optionally add a reason (internal)
- Confirm
Using Decline Queue
For batch processing:
- Add to "Decline Queue"
- Review before sending
- Process to notify speakers
Handling Rejections
Best practices:
- Be respectful in communications
- Consider providing feedback
- Encourage future submissions
Adding Co-Speakers
To add additional speakers:
- Open the submission
- Go to "Speakers" section
- Click "+ Add Co-Speaker"
- Enter email or search
- Save
Co-speakers:
- Receive notifications
- Can view submission
- Appear in schedule
Exporting Submissions
Export to Excel
- Go to Submissions
- Apply filters (optional)
- Click "Export"
- Select "Excel" or "CSV"
- Download file
Exported Data
Includes:
- All submission fields
- Speaker information
- Status
- Custom form data

Quick Search
Use the search bar to find:
- Submission titles
- Speaker names
- Keywords in description
Advanced Search
Combine filters:
- Status + Track
- Date range + Status
