Configure time slots and manage session details.

Understanding Time Slots

A time slot is a scheduled block containing:

Creating Time Slots

Quick Add

  1. Click on the schedule grid
  2. Slot appears at that position
  3. Fill in details
  4. Save

Detailed Add

  1. Click "+ Add Session" or "+ Add Slot"
  2. Complete the form:

Linking Submissions

Connect Accepted Talks

  1. Create or edit a time slot
  2. Click "Link Submission"
  3. Search accepted submissions
  4. Select the submission
  5. Information auto-populates:
    • Title
    • Description
    • Speaker(s)
  1. Open the time slot
  2. Click "Unlink"
  3. Submission reference removed
  4. Content stays editable

Managing Speakers

Auto-Assigned Speakers

When linking a submission:

Manually Add Speakers

  1. Open time slot
  2. Go to "Speakers" section
  3. Click "+ Add Speaker"
  4. Search by name/email
  5. Select speaker
  6. Save

Remove Speaker

  1. Open time slot
  2. Find speaker
  3. Click remove icon
  4. Save

Speaker Order

For panels/multiple speakers:

  1. Drag speakers to reorder
  2. Order shown in schedule

Editing Time Slots

Change Time

Option 1: Drag and drop

  1. Click and hold the slot
  2. Drag to new position
  3. Release

Option 2: Edit form

  1. Open slot details
  2. Change start/end times
  3. Save

Change Room

  1. Open slot details
  2. Select different room
  3. Save

Or drag slot to different room column.

Update Content

  1. Open slot details
  2. Edit title, description
  3. Save

Bulk Operations

Select Multiple Slots

  1. Hold Ctrl/Cmd and click slots
  2. Or use checkboxes in list view

Save as Template

For recurring session formats:

  1. Create a well-configured slot
  2. Click "Save as Template"
  3. Name the template

  2. Select template
  3. Customize as needed
  4. Save
