Google Calendar Integration
Sync your Kite schedule with Google Calendar.
Overview
Google Calendar integration enables:
- Automatic schedule sync
- Personal agenda sync
- Meeting synchronization
- Real-time updates
Setting Up
Connect Google Account
- Go to Settings > Integrations
- Click "Connect Google Calendar"
- Sign in to your Google account
- Grant permissions
- Select target calendar
Permissions Requested
Kite requests:
- View your calendars
- Create calendar events
- Update calendar events
- Delete calendar events
Why These Permissions?
- View calendars: To select which calendar to use
- Create/Update/Delete: To sync schedule changes

Synced Event Details
Calendar events include:
- Event title
- Date and time
- Location/room
- Description
- Speaker names
- Link to session
Managing Sync
Enable/Disable Sync
- Go to Settings > Integrations
- Toggle "Google Calendar Sync"
- Save
Change Target Calendar
- Go to Settings > Integrations
- Click "Change Calendar"
- Select new calendar
- Save
Manual Sync
Force immediate sync:
- Go to Schedule or My Schedule
- Click "Sync Now"
- Changes pushed to Google

Troubleshooting
Events Not Appearing
Check:
- Integration connected
- Correct calendar selected
- Auto-sync enabled
- Session bookmarked (for attendees)
Try:
- Manual sync
- Reconnect integration
- Verify permissions
Duplicate Events
Cause: Multiple sync triggers
Fix:
- Check for multiple connections
- Remove duplicates manually
- Verify single calendar selected
Wrong Times
Cause: Timezone mismatch
Fix:
- Check event timezone in Kite
- Verify Google Calendar timezone
- Ensure they match
Sync Stopped Working
Try:
- Disconnect integration
- Reconnect
- Re-authorize permissions
Disconnecting
Remove Connection
- Go to Settings > Integrations
- Click "Disconnect" for Google
- Confirm
Also Remove from Google
- Go to myaccount.google.com
- Security > Third-party apps
- Find Kite
- Remove access
Privacy
What Kite Accesses
