Configure venues and organize your content into tracks.
Managing Rooms
What Are Rooms?
Rooms represent physical or virtual venues:
- Conference halls
- Breakout rooms
- Workshop spaces
- Virtual stages
Creating a Room
- Go to Schedule > Rooms
- Click "+ Add Room"
- Configure room details:

- Click "Save"
Room Types

| Breakout | Smaller rooms | Parallel sessions |
| Workshop | Hands-on space | Workshops, tutorials |
| Hallway | Informal space | Networking, booths |
Editing Rooms
- Go to Schedule > Rooms
- Click on the room
- Modify details
- Save changes
Deleting Rooms
- Select the room
- Click "Delete"
- Confirm
Warning: Deleting a room removes it from all associated schedule slots.
Room Order
Rooms appear in the schedule in order:
- Drag to reorder in room list
- First room appears leftmost
Room Capacity
Setting Capacity
- Edit the room
- Enter the capacity number
- Save
Capacity Tracking
Monitor session popularity:
- Compare bookmarks to capacity
- Identify popular sessions
- Plan room assignments
Room Colors
Assigning Colors
Colors help identify rooms in the schedule:
- Edit the room
- Select a color
- Save

Tracks are content categories:

- Frontend
- Data Science
Creating Session Types
Use session types as tracks:
- Go to Schedule > Sessions
- Click "+ Add Session Type"
- Configure:

Assigning Tracks
When creating schedule slots:
- Select the session type/track
- Slot inherits track color
- Attendees can filter by track
Room Features
Adding Room Details
Include relevant information:
- AV equipment available
- Accessibility features
- WiFi information
- Power outlets
Room Instructions
Provide speaker notes:
Main Hall:
- Lapel mic available
- Confidence monitor on stage
- 1080p projector
- Presenter timer on podium
Virtual Rooms
For online or hybrid events:

- Add room as usual
- Include streaming link
- Note it's virtual in description

Best Practices
Room Planning
- Assign popular sessions to larger rooms
- Consider room proximity for track continuity
- Plan for setup/teardown time
- Include overflow options
Track Organization
- Limit to 3-4 tracks
- Group related topics
- Consider audience overlap
- Balance track popularity
Naming Conventions
Good names:
- "Grand Ballroom"
- "Innovation Lab"
- "Cloud Track"
Avoid:
- "Room 1" (not memorable)
- "TBD" (confusing)
- Very long names
