Accessing My Submissions
- Log in to your account
- Navigate to the event dashboard
- Click on My Submissions in the Speaker menu
Submission Statuses
Your submissions can have the following statuses:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Submitted | Your proposal has been received |
| Under Review | Evaluators are reviewing your proposal |
| Accepted | Congratulations! Your talk has been accepted |
| Rejected | Your proposal was not selected this time |
| Waitlisted | You're on the waiting list |
| Confirmed | You've confirmed your participation |
| Withdrawn | You've withdrawn your submission |
Understanding the Review Process
Timeline
- Submission Period: CFP is open for proposals
- Review Period: Evaluators score and discuss submissions
- Decision Period: Organizers make final selections
- Notification: Speakers are informed of decisions
What Evaluators Consider
- Relevance to the event theme
- Quality and clarity of the proposal
- Speaker experience and expertise
- Audience interest and value
- Diversity of topics in the program
Responding to Acceptance
When your talk is accepted:
- Confirm your participation within the deadline
- Review the speaker agreement if applicable
- Provide any additional information requested
- Check the assigned time slot once the schedule is published
If Your Talk is Waitlisted
Being waitlisted means:
- Your talk was strong but not initially selected
- You may be contacted if a slot opens up
- Keep your availability updated
Communicating with Organizers
Sending Messages
- Go to your submission
- Click Message Organizers or use the comments section
- Ask questions or provide updates
Common Reasons to Contact Organizers
- Request feedback on rejected proposals
- Ask for schedule changes
- Update your bio or talk details
- Report technical requirements
Managing Multiple Submissions
If you submitted multiple talks:
- Each submission is tracked separately
- You may have talks in different statuses
- Confirm which talks you can present if multiple are accepted
